Some of our families
Erik and family
Paulton's Park (Peppa Pig world), Hampshire
"Our son Erik was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia last year when he was just 18 months old. It was a difficult journey for us all and we spent most of our time in hospital. Erik doesn't get to socialise much but thanks to Alfie's Wish we managed to have a fun day at Peppa Pig World without having to worry about extra expenses.
This day gave us a break and a sense of normality that we haven't felt in a while. It was amazing and we are really grateful for what they have done for us. It also shows that little charities like that really make a difference in people's lives.
Thank you very much for everything."
Aiden and family
Colchester Zoo
“Thanks to Alfie’s Wish we had an amazing day at Colchester zoo. Aiden was upbeat and loved every minute of it. It was great to see him so happy.
Thanks to Alfie’s Wish, Colchester zoo pulled out all the stops to make the experience extra special and we loved Amanda who looked after us for the day. We will definitely go back to experience this again and show Amanda how Aiden is doing.”
Isabelle and family
Longleat Safari VIP experience, Wiltshire
"Thank you so much for our lovely treat to Longleat Safari Park on the VIP experience. It really was a chance to get all the kids together to make memories and be kids which is so important after all that they have been through since Isabelle was diagnosed with a supratentorial ependymoma brain tumour when she was 14 months old. Isabelle really loved experiencing all the different animals and seeing them up so close really was amazing.
Thank you so much again to Alfie's Wish for a day we all get to cherish."
James and family
Legoland, Windsor
“Alfie's Wish sent our family to Legoland Windsor for an incredible trip. They were amazing and did everything they could to make our time there extra special. From start to finish our entire stay was magical.
To be able to take our boys away to somewhere so special meant the world to us. The memories we created will last a life time. Time is so precious, and we will be forever grateful to Alfie's Wish for our precious time at Legoland.
Thank you for giving some magic, at a time when it was needed the most.”
Lily and family
Lapland UK, Ascot
“Lily was diagnosed with undifferentiated soft tissue sarcoma when she was 9 years old after finding a lump in her right knee. She has been incredibly brave through surgery and treatment so it was lovely to do something special for her at Christmas.

Thanks to Alfie's Wish we went to Lapland UK and had a wonderful time. The whole experience felt so special. The kids absolutely loved making the gingerbread men and the ice skating was also a huge hit! None of them had been on the ice before, Lily did so well, albeit with some penguin help! By the end she had got so speedy that if it wasn't for currently being osteopenic we would have encouraged her to have a go without the penguin, but thought it would be best to try and avoid any potential fractures! The finale was obviously meeting the big man himself, Father Christmas.

A huge thank you to Alfie’s Wish for arranging an amazing and magical family trip for the five of us. We cannot express how grateful we are to your charity for supporting families like ours and providing us with opportunities to make special memories together.”
